not a regular poster here, but wth.

just found out my beloved MoMoMons have been copied identically.
Yes, and the sweater design, I believe has been the basis of the same person's work.
There have previously been some "takes" on the my MoMoMons, but none EXACTLY the same reproduced, but knitting needles not mine.

the posted MoMoMon is not made by me and it is not my embroidery (I use specific coloured thread, not one that shows up...), the sleeves are slightly shorter (all mine are past the fingers), and I have made one Ivory MoMoMon and it is sitting in my house and ironically, I just reposted it, since it didn not sell last winter.

I'm pretty bummed out right now!

Hello everyone, C O M P L E T E D Thank You!!!!

I am doing a 24+ hour fundraiser for the Japan disaster relief, starting now until 9:00PM Friday March 18th. Funds to be sent to the Japanese Red Cross on Saturday March 19, 2011 (receipt to be reflected here.)

edit: I just did some online searching and it appears on the Japanese Red Cross site, they advise to go to your own country's site so, I will donate to the Canadian Red Cross, in response to the Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami

Prizes: 10 items that I have hand crafted for your Blythe+ dolls:

5 MoMoMons (bubblegum pink, true blue, peppermint green, pure white and mauve purple)
1 white mohair flower power beret
1 turquoise mohair head hugger
1 black and white fair isle mittens
1 purple babydoll dress
1 package of 4 pairs of striped socks in red & white and black & white

*I may, if time permits, craft some more goodies to add to the prize pool.

For every donation, I will send you a e-photo of the prizes.
And as a bonus for each $5 donation I will send you a number to be entered in a draw for the prizes. Using a random number generator, 10 numbers will be selected and posted here, first selected, will have first choice, 2nd selected will have 2nd choice etc.

and use as the subject: for Japan from firstname.lastname or flickrname
(no mention of a draw please) It is appreciated if sent as a gift, to increase the funds sent to the Japan Red Cross

I will cover postage costs for the 10 items sent worldwide, first class Canada Post, without tracking.

This is now completed. at 9:00 PM EST on Friday, March 18th, 2011. I do not always have time during the day to send out numbers and do the administrative part of this. but I will attend to this after 8:00 PM today and tomorrow.

Packages will be mailed out next week, many are works in progress, not yet complete, whereas some are read to be shipped! Please be patient! thank you. Feedback is in etsy of the same name.
